Custom Data Maturity Assessment
The data governance lead at a large financial institution wanted to conduct a data maturity assessment. Because no single maturity assessment framework was suitable for their unique needs, the data governance lead decided to use a custom approach.
The Custom Data Maturity Assessment Framework had six components:
- Data Strategy
- Data Governance
- Data Quality
- Metadata
- Reference Data & Master Data
- Data Security
The framework used six levels of maturity (Low – 1, High – 6).
Tavro AI Agent for Custom Data Maturity Assessment

We ingested the interview transcripts into the Tavro AI Agent for Custom Data Maturity Assessment. The Tavro Agent produced a report with the following table of contents:
- Executive Summary
- Overall Custom Data Maturity Assessment Score by Component (see figure above)
- Overall Custom Data Maturity Assessment Score by Interview
- Custom Data Maturity Scoring Rationale by Interview by Component (important audit trail for the regulators)
- Missing artifacts by Component
Tavro Agent Generated Custom Data Maturity Assessment Report in a Matter of Hours
For a fraction of the manual effort, the Tavro Agent improved the productivity of the data governance leader who would otherwise not have been able to get the report generated within a reasonable period of time.
Human-in-the-Loop (HITL)
The Data Governance Lead still acted as the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) and provided oversight for the results of the Tavro AI Agent.
